He now entertains at the Silver Legacy and the El Dorado in Reno, Nevada as a mentalist -- performing what he defines as “magic for grown ups” (even though his show offers only good, clean family fun that includes hypnosis. Stage name: James Knight). After years of using self-hypnosis to calm himself before a big show, to sleep at night, and to perform better athletically, he began to study clinical hypnosis. He became certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists and completed Acumen Certification Training with Dr. Ginny Lucas in order to apply his skills as a hypnotherapist, helping others achieve positive changes in their own lives. James has been married for 15 years and has children aged 13 and 8. Family time is a high priority in his life, and he is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America.

early as grade school James enjoyed entertaining others as

musician he discovered how much he enjoyed being on stage in front of an
