Home Up

A graduate of The North American Institute of Neurotherapy in Seattle, WA, Mac McDaniel is a current member of the National Guild of Hypnotists.

During the Viet Nam era, after his Honorable Discharge following 4 years in Marine Corps Aviation, he pursued a career in Scientific Technology.

His serious interest in brain function and the power of hypnosis came later, when a then-teenage daughter fell from her horse, sustaining serious head injury. Mac skillfully applied his newly acquired knowledge of hypnotherapy to complement her ongoing medical and psychological care, and provided hypnoanesthesia during an emergency spinal tap.

In 1987 Mac founded and is a Past Commander of The Mount St. Helen’s Composite Squadron of Civil Air Patrol and, along with his wife of 37 years, he pursued training through their church to become a non-clergy counselor.

After setting many records and earning prestigious recognition in retail in Washington, he established and successfully maintained a hypnotherapy practice known as Advanced Hypnosis. He remained active professionally in that area until his move to California.

Through association with the National Guild of Hypnotists, he then became a member of the Central Valley Chapter, a group of professionals in the field that meets regularly to earn continuing education units.

Mac recently completed Evergreen‘s mentoring program -- Acumen Certification Training -- which emphasizes the highest level of competence, professionalism, and ethics.-- and, as well as seeing clients in the Stockton office, is currently establishing an affiliate office in the Angels Camp area.

Mac collects old books, is a movie and music buff, and is the author of Tears of the Innocent, a coming-of-age murder mystery that can be ordered from most book stores or ordered directly from PublishAmerica.com.
