Welcome to EVERGREEN OUTREACH!

The time has come!

I (Ginny) have put it off as long as possible. Why? Because I didn’t want to do it again. I did it years ago for so long that (to be honest) I just got burnt out. So I stopped doing it. And even though I said “never again“ I realize now, it’s not always about what I want to do with my life, sometimes it’s about what life wants from me. So there have been signs that I’ve noticed even though I’ve tried not to and now, yes, I’m going to do it again. Differently this time. Better than before. New ideas have emerged over time. Lessons have been learned.

Wondering, “What the heck is it?” Well, first some clues: 1) It’s free. 2) It’s good for you. 3) It’s fun. 4) It’s not for everyone, but it just might be for you. IF:

You want to improve your life and

You’re interested in helping other people improve theirs.

It’s called “Rising Tide” because a rising tide floats all boats, which means that helping others helps you. Simply stated, it’s a self-improvement support group that will meet weekly in our office beginning the second week of January 2010. We first put this concept into action almost 10 years ago, and I can tell you with all sincerity that it changed lives, some of them dramatically! THAT was my reward for the time and effort I personally invested during all those years! J Then things changed -- it’s the nature of “things” -- and, with mixed feelings, we set Rising Tide aside to focus on other areas of life.

O

Along the path of life, however, there are signs that let us know, “Go this way. No. Not over there. Here!” Ever notice how the words “here” and “now” seem to show up so often together? Hmmm… it’s enough to start rumors! So now is the time, and here is your opportunity to meet in a small, friendly group to learn and practice easy and effective conversational techniques that will cost you nothing but your time (an hour-and-a-half every week for 16 meetings) and your attention (that part is easy, because what happens in Rising Tide is truly fascinating!) Your reward will be a better life. I could share tons of compliments from folks who’ve been in past groups, but I’ll settle for the one most commonly heard from a variety of sources: Rising Tide is like no other group you’ve ever been in.

The only way to learn more about it is to give it a go. Do that and you’ll notice you don’t just feel good for that hour-and-a-half, you’ll feel good all week! With regular participation, an open mind, and a sincere wish to improve your outlook and your life, by the end of four months you can feel as good as you want for as long as you want. How cool is that? And how often does an opportunity like this fall into your lap? Did I mention… it’s free? It’s also first come, first served, so please don’t sign up if you’re mildy curious… call only if you suspect that this invitation is a sign along your path saying, “Pssst. Over here! Now!” (209)472-0722
